Today, Avon Products, Inc. announced that Jan Zijderveld has been appointed the chief executive officer of the company and a member of its Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Zijderveld succeeds Sheri McCoy, who previously announced her intention to retire back in August of 2017.
Zijderveld previously spent 30 years working for Unilever, serving most recently as president of the company’s $14 billion European business.
